GRAVE STELE OF A YOUNG ARCHER
Part of a grave stele with pediment top, made of Parian marble. It is decorated with a relief figure of a young archer with a quiver on his back. His posture with bent head is redolent of sorrow for his early death. A work revealing Attic influence, probably imported.
Hagia Pelagia, Classical period, 5th cent. BC.
