Visual translations of Linear A and Linear B

The educational program “Visual translations of Linear A and Linear B” which will be held at the Archaeological Museum from 21 to 23 June 2016 (hours 11:00 am to 15:00 pm) presents creative design projects with educational character; these were created through modern optical communication technologies by designers of Sheffield Hallam University-Sheffield Institute of Arts in collaboration with the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion.

The program is addressed at pre-school kids and students of primary school (Grades A, B, C) and aims through playful approaches to bring children into experiential contact with the Linear B, the most ancient deciphered European script and its undeciphered precursor, Linear A.
