We inform you that, according to Government Gazette 1843 / Β / 14-04-2022, the summer schedule of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, from April 16, 2022 to October 31, 2022, is as follows:

Monday: 08: 00-20: 00

Tuesday: 10: 00-20: 00

Wednesday: 08: 00-20: 00

Thursday: 08: 00-20: 00

Friday: 08: 00-20: 00

Saturday: 08: 00-20: 00

Sunday: 08: 00-20: 00

On Good Friday and Holy Saturday the opening hours of the Museum are as follows:

Good Friday: 12: 00-17: 00

Holy Saturday: 08: 30-15: 30

According to the same Government Gazette (1843 / Β / 14-04-2022), the Museum remains closed on Easter Sunday and the day of celebration of May Day, official holidays of the State.

It is clarified that the arrival of visitors is allowed up to twenty (20 ‘) minutes before the end of the Museum’s opening hours.

Each individual arrangement for the operation of the Museum, by way of derogation and beyond the specified hours, will be announced by the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion with relevant information.

The Archaeological Museum of Heraklion operates by applying the instructions of the competent authorities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
