There is a cloakroom located at the ground floor of the Museum, where visitors are requested to leave packed food/liquids, backpacks and other bulky items. The Museum is not responsible for fragile or valuable objects left in the cloakroom.

Pets are not allowed inside the Museum. Use of guide-dogs to accompany visitors with disabilities is permitted.
Amateur photography and filming is permitted in the Museum. The use of flash and additional professional equipment such as portable lights and tripod, is not allowed.

Free access to the Museum’s wireless network is available in all public areas of the building.
Access to the main entrance of the Museum is enabled by a ramp from Xanthoudidou street. The door has an adequate opening to accommodate people with mobility difficulties.
Exhibition halls are on two levels, accessed via staircases and lifts suitable for wheelchairs. The Museum provides a wheelchair upon request. Handrails are present on ramps and staircases.
Accessible toilets for people with moving disabilities are available inside the Museum.
The Museum cafe and the Museum shop are accessible to visitors with moving disabilities.
For the blind or partially sighted visitors, the leaflet of the Museum in Braille is available free of charge in Greek and English, as is also the free audio tour app for select exhibits.
A “Touch tour” can be arranged upon request for organised visits of groups of blind or partially sighted visitors.
